This iconic Italian red is rich yet refined with red cherry and redcurrant flavours, fine tannins and a crisp acidity. The time spent ageing in oak barrels results in a smoky spice on the finish. The picturesque medieval hilltop town of Montepulciano in Tuscany is at the heart of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano region. This wine is made from predominantly Sangiovese grapes by family winery Cecchi whose 125 years' experience in winemaking shows in the elegance of this wine.
