Preparation and Safety
Cooking instructions: Hob
Before cooking: No need to soak. Rinse thoroughly. Place 100g of lentils into a large saucepan with 500ml cold water. During cooking: Bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes, reduce the heat, cover with a lid and simmer for 15 minutes or until the the lentils have softened. To cook on the hob 25-30 mins. Drain: Drain and rinse thoroughly. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
