Ingredients
INGREDIENTS:Wheat Flour (Calcium, Iron, Niacin, and Thiamin), Sunflower Seeds (8%), Wheat Gluten, Linseed (3.5%), Rye Flour, Oats (3.5%), Pumpkin Seed (3.5%), Yeast, Wheat Bran, Sugar, Salt, Malted Wheat, Ascorbic Acid.
Preparation and Safety
Baking bread by hand
500g Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Golden Multiseed Bread Mix
320ml water
25g butter or 15ml olive oil
Rub the bread mix with the butter or oil in a bowl with your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Gradually add the water to form a soft dough. Knead well on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic, then place it back in the bowl, cover with lightly oiled cling film. Leave the dough in a warm place for one hour to rise and double in size. Knead well again on a floured surface for a few minutes, divide dough into 2 equal sizes. Shape into rounds or oblongs and place on a baking tray. Cover with lightly oiled cling film. Leave the dough in a warm place for half an hour to rise again and increase in size. Remove cling film and bake in the top of a preheated oven 220°C (425°F, Gas mark 7) for 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden in colour.
