Cooking instructions: Hob
To cook on the hob. Before cooking: Empty the contents of one sachet into a saucepan. Stir in 180ml cold milk. During cooking: Bring to the boil and simmer for 2 minutes or until milk is absorbed, stirring occasionally. After cooking: Check food is piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled. All appliances vary. Microwave but can also be cooked on the hob. 700w - 3 mins per sachet 800w – 2 ½ mins per sachet 900w - 2 mins per sachet Before cooking: Empty the contents of one sachet into a large microwaveable bowl. Stir in 180ml cold milk. Do not cover. After cooking: Stir thoroughly. Check food is piping hot. Allow to stand for 1 minute. For a thicker porridge cook for a further 30 seconds.
