Habitat Cast Iron 3.6L Skillet & Griddle

Description

We’re fans of this lidded pan. You’ve a skillet for frying or sauteing. All of this in a 3.6 litre, lidded, family-size casserole pot. Made from enamel coated steel, it works with any hob, and in any oven. It’s a pot that’s got the lot.

Features:
• 2-in-1 griddle and casserole.
• The lid of the casserole is a griddle pan and can be used separately on all hobs and in the oven.
• Always use oven gloves or tea towel when gripping the handles.
• All dimensions are approximate.
• Suitable for all hob types and suitable for oven use.

Care & Use:
• Save on energy by using the right sized heat source for the width of the pan
• Don't allow the flame to go beyond the base of the pan
• A low to medium heat setting is recommended when using this product to allow the cast iron to heat gradually
• Don't leave the cast iron empty when the heat is on and don't allow it to boil dry
• Make sure handles are not left over a heat source. And always lift the cast iron from the hob - don't drag it, as this may cause scratches
• To keep it looking its best, only use wooden, nylon or silicone utensils
• Oven safe to 260°C/500°F/Gas mark 10

How to clean
• Before using for the first time, remove all packaging and hand wash in warm soapy water, drying thoroughly afterwards
• Hand wash only
• Always dry thoroughly before putting away
• Make sure it is cool before washing or putting in water this will prevent the pan from warping
• Don’t use abrasive cleaners as they may cause scratches
• If you get burnt-on food stuck to the pan, leave to cool then soak in warm soapy water
• New cookware can leave a residue on hobs - this is a normal consequence of high temperature on exterior coatings
• The residue is harmless and can be cleaned using your usual hob cleaner

Other Information:
• This product is guaranteed for 10 years. It covers faulty workmanship and/or materials when the product is used under normal domestic conditions and cared for in accordance with the care and use instructions provided.
• A faulty product will only be replaced free of charge (or one of equivalent value if the product is no longer in production) when you show dated proof of purchase and we find after examining it there's a defect in the workmanship and material that was not caused by any of the below excluded categories.
• Damage caused by everyday wear and tear, accidents, misuse, abuse or commercial use. This includes any unauthorised modifications or alterations. Internal or external scratches, stains, discolouration, corrosion or damage from overheating food or water or using the wrong utensils. This includes the non-stick coating. Consequential damage. Please note, if you have purchased a set, only the faulty product will be replaced.
