Preparation and Usage

Step 1: frying pan icon Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken for 5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Add the mushrooms. Step 2: measuring jug Blend the contents of the sachet with the milk and pour over the chicken. Step 3: Frying pan icon Bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Step 4: Plate knife /fork icon Reduce the heat and simmer for 8 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked, stirring occasionally. Enjoy with freshly cooked rice and salad.

1 sachet Colman's Chicken Supreme Recipe Mix

1 tbsp cooking oil

450g (1lb) of skinless, boneless chicken breasts, thinly sliced

175g (6oz) mushrooms, sliced

425ml (3/4 pint) semi-skimmed milk

How to Cook:

1. Fry the chicken in the oil for 5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Add the mushrooms.

2. Blend the contents of the sachet with the milk and pour over the chicken.

3. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously.

4. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked, stirring occasionally.

5. Ensure piping hot and serve immediately with rice and salad.

Why Not Try...

Creamy White Wine Chicken

Frying 4 chicken breast in the oil for 10-12 minutes before placing in an ovenproof dish. Sauté 2 sliced courgettes in the same pan and spoon over the chicken. Make up the sauce replacing 100ml of the milk with white wine and add to the dish. Bake in preheated oven 190°C for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked thoroughly.

1 tbsp vegetable oil

450g skinless chicken breasts

175g mushrooms, sliced

425ml semi skimmed milk

Directions:

Fry It
