How Acnecide® Face Gel 5% works on acne spots: Acnecide® Face Gel 5% contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide, which kills the bacteria (germs) known as Cutibacterium acnes, one of the main causes of acne.
Safety Warning
Do not use Acnecide® Face Gel 5% if you: - Have moderate acne with some inflamed red spots or pimples to severe acne with large bumps, many inflamed spots or previous scarring from acne of the face. - Have acne on other parts of your body such as shoulders, back or chest. - Have an allergy to any of the ingredients displayed on this pack. In these cases please speak to your pharmacist for treatment advice. FOR APPLICATION TO THE FACE ONLY - If your acne gets worse while using Acnecide® Face Gel or if it does not improve within 12 weeks, it is Important that you see your pharmacist or doctor for advice. Undertreatment of some forms of acne may sometimes result in scarring. Your pharmacist or doctor will be able to recommend an alternative treatment for your acne. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your pharmacist or doctor before using any medicines. Warning: May bleach hair and dyed fabrics. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
